Not the layers that we see in this course. The layers I find are for dirt, rock, moss, snow, sand and one named scree that seems almost identical to rock. What is there does not look as good quality either, So I was not sure if i was still looking at the same pack. It’s also my favorite source for free sound effects & 2D art assets.
But the pack itself inside once installed does not contain then at all it seems. There are great 2D sprites, free 3D models, music, sounds, textures, fonts, and even text files full of character names you can use. But the problem is that the pack seems to contain all the terrain textures that we see in this project plus more. The scope of this project is to set a common ground touch up vanilla, unify mod textures, and keep the mods unique. Vanilla Minecraft was retextured simply because I felt it was falling behind, visually, compared to the look of mods these days. The idea is to keep the authors original vision alive and well.
The Unity resource pack follows the traditional Minecraft aesthetics but adds subtle depth and more natural colors.
